The full form of IAAS is Institute of Agriculture
And Animal Science.
- In 1972 the college of agriculture was given
the status of the Institute of Agriculture and
Animal Science under TU and operated at
pulchowk in Kathmandu.
- In 1974 IAAS was relocated at Rampur,
Chitwan.
- Lamjung campus,Sundarbazar was
established in 1975AD/2032 BS-Pakhlihawa
campus, Pakhlihawa, Bhairahawa, Rupandehi
was established in 1978
- Recently established 2 new colleges under
IAAS=Gaurdahwa, Jhapa and Khairhani,
Chitwan
